The Cardiology department provides 24/7 all cardiac interventions (coronary, peripheral, pacing, and congenital). With state of the art equipment to the most recent European guidelines in management. As-Salam International Hospital is one of the first tertiary care hospitals that started the most updated techniques in the management of aortic aneurysms through minimally invasive endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) for abdominal aortic aneurysm and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TVAR) for a thoracic aortic aneurysm. For managing acute chest pain with different causes, the Cardiology department started a new integrated service for low risk chest pain patients to be admitted to chest pain unit with the diagnosis of chest pain in less than 12 hours by non-invasive multisite coronary angiography.
